COSTUMES
Most of our fears in life are just an illusion. They seem big and scary, but when you take the time to look deeper, you see that they're just wearing a costume.
Let's say you're afraid of spiders. If you look closely enough at them, they're actually pretty cute! And if you take a closer look at your own fear of spiders (or whatever it is that scares you), maybe it really isn't as scary as you thought it was. Maybe it's just a spider in a costume.
So the next time something scares you, try taking off that costume for yourself—and see if it still looks so scary once it's not wearing all that extra stuff anymore.
